We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Victoria, our junior female kendoka, who proudly represented Ireland at the 34th European Kendo Championship in Montenegro this past weekend. Victoria had the honour of serving as the flag‑bearer for the Irish National Kendo Team during the opening ceremony. Congratulations to all our members who successfully completed their gradings in April. We are proud to welcome a new 2nd Kyu, a new Shodan, and a new Nidan to our ranks.

Today marked our final training session of 2025, closing out what has truly been an eventful year for our club. We grew in numbers, passed our gradings with confidence, and attended numerous seminars that broadened our skills and deepened our understanding of kendo. Most notably, we achieved our strongest performance in the Irish National Kendo Championship in recent years—perhaps even in our club’s history.
